Our programs are a great way for little ones to discover the natural world.

 

Preschool Adventures (Ages 3 - 5).

These 90-minute programs are for children ages three to five and a parent/grandparent or other adult, and focuses on a special animal or area of the Zoo. Each session presents opportunities for adult/child pairs to make discoveries together. Programs include a lesson, activities, a craft, and an up close program animal encounter.Class Size: 12 max. One adult must accompany each child. We cannot accommodate additional adults or siblings due to space limitations. Members: $14 per child/adult pair; non-members: $42 per child/adult pair

 

Rock-A-Baby Concerts

This exciting 45-minute concert specifically geared towards our youngest Zoo guests promises to be fun for the whole family. The Rock-a-Baby trio will introduce the true stars of their show – “Rhythm, Melody and Harmony” - three silly and entertaining puppets who know a lot about music. Playing everything from well-known children’s songs to rock and pop classics - shake, dance and sing along as we explore fun musical concepts, play games, and boogie down. Come Out & Play! Rock-A-Baby Concert

Hasbro’s Our Big Backyard is a nature play and exploration area for children and their families. Our House features an indoor activity space and The Nature Swap, a special place to trade items that children and parents collect when out exploring nature.  Our Backyard, the ultimate play space, is staffed by specially trained Play Partner volunteers to help you make the most of the Drip Drop Water Garden, Sticks & Stones Building Zone, and Creativity Corner.  Build forts, climb, and swing Beyond the Fence.  Then make your way to the CVS Health Treehouse with even things to explore – a giant color wheel, telescopes, a beehive, and much more.
